Human Rights human rights day - 10 december 2006

Human Rights Day celebrates the proclamation of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights on December 10th, 1948.

The Universal Declaration envisions a world in which all people enjoy fundamental rights and freedoms. Human Rights Day is a time to celebrate how much has been achieved in bringing this vision to reality, and also to reflect on how much remains to be done.

These resources have been prepared to help youth groups, school groups, study groups, congregations and individuals learn about human rights and Australia's place within the international community.

Enjoy and learn!
