Location of Records Prior to Union- [HTML format posted Jan 2003] - This document explains the location of the records of the Methodist, Presbyterian and Congregtional churches which were produced prior to the Uniting Church Union in 1977.
ActivitiesLocated in NSW, the committee uses the Mitchell Library as the main depository for the national records of the church. The committee is responsible for collecting, sorting and cataloguing the available material before it is sent. The Ministers’ Beneficiary Fund records remain in Melbourne. While those of the Australian Inland Mission and Frontier Services are housed at the National Library in Canberra. Resources The committee is available to:
